Message 1) if the shock sensor is properly mounted on
the steering column, any jarring of the front
wheels will activate the alarm. My shock
sensor sensitivity is set so any jarring of the
car period will set the warn away of. You do
not have an aftermarket alarm, so you
wouldn't know either way.
2) any wheel thief would have a hammer and
chisel/large flathead. Basics. You're a fool if
you think otherwise. Wouldnt be surprised if
he had some lube/WD/PB. It's the
unsuspecting people like you who
underestimate thieves who wind up getting
jacked. Takes the heat off my car, so thanks.
As far as alerting me if my car was touched,
that's why I have a 2-way pager. If I'm not in
proximity, when I unarm the car or when I
comeback into signal distance, the alarm tells
me where and what was activated. Gasnt
happened yet. Again a feature of an alarm
you wouldn't know about, since all you have
protecting your Z is a half functional stock
alarm.
4) reread my post for understanding why, in
light of arrows info, it's exponentially easier
to remove these locks, and why the mere
installation of them is inviting trouble.
3) chance? Really? So it couldn't have been
the theft deterrent measures I take? Guess
my timing belt is still intact cuz of chance too,
couldn't be due to the recent 120K
maintenance.
